​Purple Mountain Music is a world-class music and sound production facility. It  features both ultra-modern and rare vintage audio recording equipment  specifically selected to obtain the highest fidelity and flexibility possible for music  production and sound design. 

​Home base for producer/composer John Neil Martin, formerly with Sun Studio,  Memphis, the facility offers a variety of world class services for recording artists  and film studios. These services include tracking, overdubbing and mixing/ remixing as well as sound design, A.D.R., and composition and production of  high-quality music for trailers, motion picture and televisions scores and  advertisements for all digital media.

We provide world class levels of production with emphasis on quality music and  the best performances captured and reproduced using industry leading  production techniques . . . all while maintaining a comfortable creative flow. Vibe  is paramount, when the vibe is great the music is great!

​This studio has been home to some classic recordings and incredible musicians  over the years from Johnny Neel of the Allman Brothers Band cutting tracks for a  Nashville Star artist to Grammy winning songwriter Jeff Silbar working on new  hits and Scott “Scotch” Ralston of 311 fame working on Reggae Dub Mixes. At  Purple Mountain Music, we say the masters rule.
